Room-temperature solid-state microwave quantum devices:
Research topic 1: Maser-enhanced quantum sensing (magnetometry);
Research topic 2. Ultra-low-noise microwave amplification and generation with solid-state quantum systems;
Research topic 3. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) study of organic molecular crystals;
Research topic 4. Microwave cavity quantum electrodynamics (cavity QED).

We plan to admit 1 to 2 students each year for master’s projects. We welcome students with a background in applied/quantum physics, microwave engineering, materials science and engineering, instrument science who are interested in developing microwave quantum devices.
