Research Interests
He has long been devoted to the independent research and development of discharge plasma simulation software, theoretical research of gas discharge mechanism and application research of plasma technology. He has worked on particle-in-cell/Monte Carlo collision, plasma fluid model, plasma global model, electron kinetics, electron energization, moment analysis of Boltzmann equation, E×B plasmas, plasma instability, gas discharge similarity laws, radio frequency discharges, physical vapor deposition, hollow cathode discharges, atmospheric pressure plasmas, and plasma-liquid interaction.
Publications
He has published more than 40 papers in high level journals in the field of low temperature plasma and applied physics, such as Plasma Sources Science and Technology, Physical Review Applied, Applied Physics Letters, etc. He has been invited to give presentations and reviews at high-level international conferences and seminars in this field, such as Gaseous Electronics Conference, International Conference On Metallurgical Coatings & Thin Films, and International Online Plasma Seminar. His self-developed plasma particle simulation software ASTRA has been successfully applied to the study of DC/RF, magnetized/non-magnetized, and low pressure/atmospheric discharges, with application backgrounds covering magnetron sputtering, ion sources, electric propulsion, microplasma, and other important areas. He has been selected as a national high-level young overseas talent in 2021.
