摘要：Density functional theory (DFT) is widely perceived as the “standard model” for electronic band computation, whereas Walter Kohn's original ambition is clearly beyond a single-electron mean-field calculation. This talk will discuss our recent efforts in generalizing DFT. Topics include: (i) Extensibility of the Hohenberg-Kohn theorem to generalized quantum systems; (ii) Fractionalized Kohn-Sham ansatz for strongly-correlated electrons; and (iii) Resolving non-S-wave superconducting pairing from first-principles calculation.

简历：

刘峥，现任北京航空航天大学物理学院教授。2006年在清华大学物理系获得学士学位，2012年在清华大学高等研究院获物理学博士学位，博士毕业后在美国犹他大学做博士后研究。2015年回到清华大学高等研究院工作，任副研究员、博士生导师，2020年晋升研究员。2024年8月起任北京航空航天大学物理学院教授。2010年获教育部博士研究生学术新人奖，2013年获北京市优秀博士论文，2015年被Australian Research Council授予Discovery Early Career Researcher Award，2016年入选国家级青年人才。2013年秋季学期在美国犹他大学材料系主讲本科生专业课“Introduction to Thermodynamics”，2018-2022年每年秋季学期在清华大学开设研究生专业课“计算凝聚态物理选讲”。指导的本科生曾获得清华大学物理系学业最高奖“叶企孙奖”，指导的博士生曾获得清华大学思政工作最高奖“蒋南翔奖”，指导的博士后入选全国首届博士后创新人才支持计划。2022年被授予清华大学“传道寸心”奖杯。
