摘要: The lecture reviews underlying ideas of quantum computing (quantum superpositions and parallelism), basic concepts, algorithms, and approaches. I will discuss the main obstacles on the way to practically useful quantum computing, the methods of their overcoming, and the relative power of currently feasible quantum computers and their classical simulators. As an illustration, the experience of modeling Grover's search algorithm at classical simulators will be presented.

简历: Alexander Mikhalychev is a senior researcher in B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics,National academy of sciences of Belarus. He has published more than 60 papers in top journals in physics, such as Phys.Rev , npj Quantum Inf. and so on. His research covers: quantum antennas, quantum measurement and quantum imaging. He has finished projects like EU Horizon 2020 project, BRFFR-NSFC,BRFFR-ICRANet.
